International Science Grid this week is featuring work done on CCR clusters via the NYSGrid project. A research team at Syracuse University’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is working on improving helicopter rotor technology to improve stability. The team needed more processing power than was available to them at SU and tackled their problem using CCR clusters over NYSGrid.
